Easter Part 1

Saturday morning we attended our church's annual Easter egg hunt. It is a lot of fun, but we have missed a couple of them and hadn't been since Ella and her friends were barely 1 year old.

This is Ella at her first Easter Egg Hunt in 2007. Oh man, I loved that dress!

The next sequence of pictures were hilarious. They involve us trying to get a group shot of all the kids together. Children kept getting added as we tried to herd them all together.




The final shot is Titus & Toby in the back. Ella & Karoline in the middle. And Justus, Bear & Klaire on the ground. I love this picture!


After the egg hunt, the kids always gather in the library to hear the Easter story.


When we first got to the church, Ella immediately went to look in the giant fish tank that is in our nursery with her good friend Toby. Well, of all mornings, one of the HUGE orange fish was dead on the bottom of the tank. And here are more than normal the amount of kids wanting to look in the tank. Well, Ella of course pointed to the fish and said, "Look at that fish." Jonas's daddy was standing by and told Ella, "Jonas said the fish is sleeping," to try to avoid any meltdowns from the other kids. Well, Ella looked right at him and very loudly said, "Noooo, that fish is DEAD." Ahhh...sweet Ella. I have a feeling trying to curtail some things in the future isn't going to work for this one.
