Pumpkin Carving

Thursday night, Ella and I went to Kristin and Laney's church for an International Bible study they have once a week. This week was Pumpkin Carving night, so I thought it would be a fun night to join in.

This group is great. It's mainly Taiwanese students from UTA that attend. Kristin and I both have a huge love for the country of Taiwan. Several years ago Kristin and I spent seperate summers teaching english there. Then 5 summers ago we got the amazing opportunity to go back to Taiwan TOGETHER to teach english! It was the ultimate girls trip and we built lasting memories.

Me & Ella with our carved pumpkin. It was the firt time I have ever carved a mini pumpkin. It was much easier, but we definitely stood out among the large pumpkins.

Ella and Laney desperately wanted to help Todd carve his awesome spider pumpkin.

Our new friend Mark gave some pointers to Ella on how to play the drum.

The finished product.

Our little wee one with the awesome big ones.

And of course some cupcake eating.

We didn't carve a single pumpkin this year! I can't believe that.

I love your pictures, thanks for sharing them. Ella is getting so big!

You look so pretty in that picture of you and Ella! (As does Ella!) She is seriously getting so big, and I've never even met her! Oh, the joys of blog land! :)

Looks like y'all had a great time. And the mini pumpkin of y'alls is adorable!

What a fun time. I love your little pumpkin! It is small and dainty like Ella. If you don't post a picture of ya'lls costumes soon I am going to do it. They were awesome especially yours!
