Happy Birthday Ella!!!

Ella had a great 3rd birthday weekend. It was VERY low key, however, it's not over yet. We have several more things planned this week and next weekend, including her 2 big parties on Saturday.

Heath and I really loved having Ella all to ourselves on Sunday. It was great to be able to focus on her and reflect on how special the past 3 years have been.

To recap the weekend:

Friday night, Heath's fettuccini alfredo was SO YUMMY.

Jeni, I will try to get him to let me post the recipe. :-)

Saturday, Heath, Ella and I spent all morning/afternoon together. Heath took us both shopping.

I got this:

which I'd been wanting for a while.

And some MAC makeup. Thanks Hubs!

That night, Heath had to work, so our friend Damey came over and helped Ella and I make her birthday cookies for her Sunday School class the next morning.

After Ella fell asleep, I adopted a tradition that Kristin's sister does where she takes a picture of them sleeping the night before their birthday.

Sunday, I was at the church at 7:45 for worship practice so I didn't get to wake my sweet 3 year old up, but Heath had her at the church at 9:00 and I was so happy to see my birthday girl!

The preschool department had a little Valentine's party that we went to first.

One of the sweetest things of the morning that I was that in Titus' 4 year old class, they were going around the circle doing prayer requests. His teacher told me that Titus asked that they "pray for Ella because it's her birthday today." Precious.

Every year, my desire has been to take a picture at 3:32 p.m., the moment Ella was born and our lives changed forever.

This was 3:32 Feb. 15, 2006

I can not get enough of this sweet girl!

Sunday night, we had a little party

The fun Ella has with her Daddy seems to increase more and more each day. She probably thinks I am SO boring.

We are so blessed!

First of all, Happy Birthday to that sweet, precious girl of yours. She is a doll, even if I've only ever seen her in pictures.

Secondly, I too have Whispers of Hope, but haven't done it yet.

Thirdly, I wear MAC powder and bluch and I LOVE it. I hope you love it, too! :)

Lastly, the idea about taking a picture every year at that time is precious! You are such a fun momma!

Love, love!

P.S. That meant to say "blush." I'm not too sure what "bluch" is. :)

She is SO precious! I love her little voice and how tiny she is. I had a hard time with three too. I cried when her tags didn't say "months" anymore. Ridiculous I know! :) Happy B-day to your sweet girl.
