Bloggy Meeting

Last Saturday, Ella and I got to have lunch with Holly @ Crown Laid Down. Her and her precious family were driving through Dallas on their way home to Colorado and it worked out perfectly for us to meet up. I was so excited. It's always so fun to meet somebody whose blog I've been reading for a very long time.

Holly and her husband have meant so much to me. Besides the fact that she always leaves me the sweetest, most encouraging comments, her and her husband also felt called last June to help support Heath and I on our trip to the Sudan. We had never even met and the Lord laid it on their hearts to help us. SO sweet and SO touching. Needless to say, this family means a lot to us. I was happy to get to meet them and spend a couple hours just talking.

Thanks Holly & Chris!! I know our paths will cross again soon.

You know what? I think that one thing I have enjoyed most about this part of our generation is that God has used what I thought was the most unlikely thing (blogging) to bring His people together--to love and encourage and spur us on. You do that for me, Janelle!

It was awesome getting to meet you face to face. Thank you for taking time to meet with us. I really look forward to next time!

Sydney has enjoyed looking at Ella's picture and says, "El-la." The little stinker (Sydney) should have been more of a sweet friend when she got to meet "El-la." Aye.

Love,
Holly

Greetings Janelle,
I'm just stopping by after reading Holly's post about your visit. I was blessed to meet her at the Siesta Fiesta and was amazed by her kindness and the awesome cookbook she put together. I cannot imagine the time, effort and energy she spent on that book - it's huge! Just like Holly's dear heart.

And your San Antonio pictures are amazing - I'm sorry I missed the tea garden - the stone is beautiful.

So nice to meet you,
Lora
