A Good Day

Today has been a fabulous day because it's my BIRTHDAY and I have so many special people in my life that have made this day so fantastic.

This is what's been going on so far.

First, my husband made me delicious breakfast this morning!

Then we had our normal Thursday playdate. The last couple of months I have been working extra hours at the church, so I haven't been able to make a few of our Thursday playdates recently, but this week I went back to my normal part time hours, so today was doubly special. The girls made this my birthday playdate!

We started the day at Southlake Town Square, which is so fabulous that it makes any day better. The purpose of this was to let the Tods run off some energy so they would hopefully cooperate at lunch. Hopefully.








Then, the girls took me to PeiWei, one of my favorites. They each treated me to something special. Thank you Cassi for lunch and Sunni for the book, A Thousand Splendid Suns, I can NOT wait to start it and for Melissa for bringing the most yummy cupcakes ever! It was a very fun lunch. Except for the part where the waitress and I had a slight collision and I managed to spill coke on both of Melissa's children in one fell swoop(yes, one of her children is only 2 1/2 months old)! That was awesome. Sorry about that Melissa.

Then I came home to a package at my front door. Amanda and Jackson sent me flowers for my birthday! I was so giddy. How sweet is that! Thank you so much!!! They are beautiful. It made me feel a little bit like you were here celebrating with us. You are such a sweet friend. I miss you!



And then Heath came home with the other flowers. These are some of my favorite flowers because they live for SO long.


Two flower deliveries in ONE day! Two thumbs up.

I've had many phone calls/texts and I love each one!

In about two hours we will be dropping Ella off with my parents and my hubby is taking me out! Yea! I can't wait. I must go get ready. Y'all are the best!
