My Blood Pressure Can Now Return To A Normal Level

My cell phone and I have been having an ongoing battle for the last 3 months. It doesn't want to work and I want it to work. It's been winning.

The problem started 3 months ago when my phone suddenly wouldn't send any text messages. Finally, out of frustration while trying to send a message, I sort of ashamedly banged it against my steering wheel while driving one day. Yes, I had reached that point. But I couldn't believe it, the message I was trying to send actually sent! So I realized to get my phone to send a text message I would have to bang it again something solid.

About 2 months ago, it got even worse and I would have to bang my phone against something just to call somebody. You can imagine the looks I got at the grocery store, at work, at church when I would bang my cell phone against a wall or door, whatever was nearby. I wouldn't even be banging it out of anger, just out of necessity.

I finally got around to ordering a new phone and it arrived around Thanksgiving, but I realized I ordered a phone that wasn't a camera phone. This may sound very spoiled, but I really love my camera phone. It has come through for me when I've HAD to have that picture of Ella and didn't have my normal camera around. I kept the phone for a week debating on if I could live without a camera phone and finally came to the conclusion that I could not. So I returned it.

Out of pure laziness, I just got back around to ordering a new one last week. It came yesterday and I love it. It's a Nokia phone and it's really great. My blood pressure and stress level have now returned to a normal level and I am so happy!

oh, how I understand the DRAMA of cell phones. I jsut recently got a new one b/c my old one was SOOOO stupid...it is AMAZING how much better the technology gets all the time...I can't believe how "updated" my new one is and my old one was just a year old (which in tech. world is ANCIENT!)

So glad you got it working...now to get out of the habit of banging it on everything! :)

BTW- just emailed you back!!

I am deeply saddened that I didn't get to see you bang your cell phone on something. Deeply saddened.

I can understand! Mine got thrown in the bath tub and broke. Things were just unorganized and chaos until I got a new one.

I can see you driving down the road banging that phone, or standing in line at Wal-mart banging it on the magazine holders! Ha ha ha! You are soo funny! I'm glad it is working now. What did we ever do without cell phones?? I remember having to find pay phones! Ughhh... the olden days!! : )

I am being extra careful with my phone lately. I discovered while helping my mom buy a new phone for my sister for Christmas that they don't make it anymore. I am very sad, because I love my phone! So, I plan to make it last as long as possible. It holds the record of being the cell phone I have had the longest.

My phone fell into Ryan's birthday cake in December. I cleaned it up as best I could but the dial would not spin and it made it hard to scroll through contacts and what not. So my hubs took it into the store after I cleaned as much of the icing off as I could and they replaced it. Shouldn't have b/c we don't have insurance on our phones but they did and I was happy. I did however, loose all my ringtones and pictures. Sad. I understand your drama!

Hahaha! That's soooo funny!!! I have just been respoiled with my camera phone!!! I didn't have one for about 2 years, and I was REALLY sad, but I started to forget how wonderful they were!!! I am soooo thankful for mine! Glad you got yours!!! :) Nokia's are great, too! So much fun!
