At first she was perfectly content to swing in the park next to the sprinkler area and just watch the kids have fun, but this mama was not so much enjoying pushing a toddler in 100 degree weather while others cooled off just feet away from us. So after an hour, I finally was able to convince her to try it and can you guess what...she actually enjoyed herself. Even though she did stick mainly to the edges, she still was okay with getting a little water on her sweet, precious, delicate face.
Ella & the birthday boy!
Melissa, Toby's mom, did a morning b-day party, so the food was donuts and sausage kolaches! Yum! Toby's "cake" was a sprinkle donut with a candle in it. It was very cute!

Yeah, Ella! Jackson and I are so proud of you!
So cute! I'm glad that she braved the water. It looks like it was a fun party and we are so sad that we missed it!
Janelle, I am a little slow sometimes :) but I was just catching up on your blog and saw the "I'm going to Africa" note. Is that true? Wow! Honduras and Africa in the same year is huge. I can't wait to read all about it. That is so awesome.
Go Ella! The Princess used to be the same way, but now I have to tell her things like, "Please don't drink the water when you put your head under." To which she (of course) responds, "Why?"
She is so precious!
The picture of Ella and Toby is precious! I didn't know she was water shy. I figured she was a water baby. Tobey is still a little hesitant but much better than last summer.
I love it girl! So cute! I need to send you the pics I have of them! She is so much fun!
I'm glad she decided to try it out. I can't even imagine a kiddo not wanting in the water - Kasen thinks water is the best thing ever.
