Thursday night Ella and I had a slumber party with my good friend Linsey and her two children Gage and Jillian. Linsey and I used to live 10 minutes from each other and got to see each other a lot. We were pregnant at the same time and for the first 9 months of our babies' lives, we had many playdates. Then we both moved farther away from each other and don't get to see each other near as often. So we thought a slumber party was just what we needed.
They did lots of running.
And more running.
Then we went on a bunny hunt. Linsey's neighborhood has so many bunnies, they are everywhere. I loved it, but Linsey said it's a pain because they leave their "droppings" everywhere and eat their flowers.
Ella chased this one...
...through this fence into a neighbor's backyard. Gage and Ella had high hopes that it would come back out but no luck.
No slumber party is complete without a little dance party in our pajamas.
This is Linsey's new baby, Jillian. Ella loved helping take care of her.
Saturday, Heath's sisters AND my sister all came over. We played all day and Heath grilled us some ribs that were ridiculous! So good! Ella was SO excited because she got to see all 3 of her aunts in ONE day. 3 aunts to love on her. We were so busy having fun that I only got a few pictures of the whole day (I know, very unlike me) and these are it. But these pictures pretty much sum up the day of silliness that we had.
This is Heath's sister Cathy doing seat drops on the couch wit Ella. Probably not a good habit to start with her, but when the aunts are over it's all about the fun.
Sunday my sister took Ella to the zoo! I don't have any pictures of that since we weren't there, but I hear she had a blast.
That night we celebrated a great guy's 30th birthday! Bryan and Becca go to our church and in the past 2 years, we have grown so close. They are an amazing couple and Heath and I love the heck out of them.
Happy Birthday Bryan! In celebration of his turning the big 30, Heath got Bryan some very important items that a man at his age might need like Bengay and Fixodent. It just wouldn't be Heath if he brought a normal gift.

I was so happy that ya'll came to Bryan's party! Bryan said he would have been disappointed if Heath brought him a gift that wasn't funny! HA! We'll celebrate Heath's birthday next month...oh wait...no...like 13 months from now! We love you much!-Becca

Aren't aunts the best? When my sister is here, all rules are off.
