Mother's Day

We had a great Mother's Day. We spent the morning at church and then spent the evening at my parents house. I just can not believe how thankful I am for this sweet girl. I have never known a love like this. It's indescribable. Thank you God for letting me be this precious girl's mother. I am so unworthy of this calling.

Ella & sweet Karoline.

My mom bought Ella this fabulous dress from Gymboree and it was the perfect twirling dress, which Ella LOVES to do in everything she puts on. Her constant twirling reminds me so much of the song by Watermark that says "The tenderness of God is twirling around in my living room tonight." This often brings tears to my eyes as I watch my sweet girl doing this exact thing and I just have to whisper, "thank you".

My sweet mom, myself & Ella! I am SO blessed to have a mom like my mom and to have her live just 15 minutes down the road. She never ceases to give all of herself to me, Heath and Ella. She even watches Ella 3 days out of the week so I can work. I am beyond thankful for all that she does for us!

Ella & Grandad!! Ella loves to practice her addition on her fingers. Part of her practicing is she wants you to count her fingers while she holds them up and says, "one plus one is two" and so on. It's a fun game.

Ella is so in love with her Dada. And they LOVE to wrestle!

Thank you, thank you, thank you God for giving me the gift of motherhood! I try daily to grasp the hugeness of what you have entrusted to me through that gift and I pray that I can be the kind of mother you ask of me.

Love all the pictures - especially the twirling ones. My son has started doing that to make himself dizzy and then he falls down...he just cracks himself up doing that.
