Grapevine Main Street Days

Heath, Ella and I had the best day a couple of Fridays ago. It was Grapevine's annual Main Street Days Festival. It's one of 4 festivals that they put on every year.

While Heath was working that afternoon, Ella and I went ahead and went so we could eat corny dogs for lunch!!! Delicious! So we strolled around just the two of us looking at all the fun craft booths. I really wanted to buy something, but nothing really caught my eye.

The great thing about this particular festival is it focuses a lot on the kids, so there were tons of fun things for Ella.

The first stop we made (after eating corny dogs, of course) was the play dough section.

She didn't stay long at the play dough station because the bounce house caught her eye and we had to do that RIGHT NOW.

Her favorite thing to do is seat drops.

Check out the air she got on this one.

She had a collision with another little girl in the blue bounce house and hurt her cheek. So we had to move to the green bounce house because "NO BLUE BOUNCE!".

Heath showed up while she was bouncing in the green house and she screamed so loud with delight when she saw him. It was precious.

Then we rode on a blue choo choo train.

Ella eyed this balloon ride from afar and really wanted to ride it.

However, when our balloon went high it spun around also and freaked her out. She was screaming "NO HIGH".

This is me trying to console her. It didn't work and they ended up having to stop the ride. Thankfully we were the only ones on it, so we didn't ruin anybody elses ride.

Poor baby. As you can see, she was very happy that the ride was slowing down.

It was such a fun day. The weather and atmosphere were perfect! Just my baby and my man. If you live in North Texas, you really need to go to one of Grapevine's festivals because they are a lot of fun.

Our kids like those little festivals. Unfortunately, we don't have them around here.

What is it with the fair-type food that just grabs ya? I love it!

She was cracking us up at Bunco last week with her seat drops on the living room floor. She would say Ow! everytime she did one but it didn't stop her. Sounds like a great day!
