The Weekend!
Yesterday Ella turned 19 months. Not much has changed since her turning 18 months. She's still so sweet and amazing, saying so many cute words and so fun! Yesterday, however, with her turning 19 months, she is now closer to being two years old than she is to being just one year old. I am so in love with this stage, I wish I could freeze her in time. But she's headed to two quickly. Why am I not pregnant again? :-) Just kidding.
Heath and I have had a fun weekend. Friday night we ate here:
We ate at the one in Southlake Town Square. For those of y'all who aren't familiar with this area, Southlake Town Square is a gorgeous shopping and dining opportunity. It's the perfect place to eat and stroll around on a cool summer/fall/spring night, which is exactly what we did.
After our delicious dinner, we went to Bed, Bath and Beyond to buy these:
My kitchen rugs were getting so old, it was beyond time for new ones and they look so good! I love them. They make our whole kitchen look different.
Saturday afternoon, Heath's sister's came over for the day. We ate, ate and ate some more. There's this great Mexican restaurant in Dallas called Luna De Noche and they have THE.BEST.QUESO! Last time we were there, we bought the recipe and now can have THE.BEST.QUESO. anytime we want! So we ate much queso, quacomole, fajitas, and brownies. mmmmm. Oh and we played Sequence! That is a summary of what we do most of the time when we get together with Heath's family. I look forward to it for days. :-) mmmmm. Have I said that already?
Aunt Cathy swung Ella for a veyr long time cause that is what she requires. You know, she's a little obssessed with the swing.
Heath's sister Ashley.
Cathy brought these shoes with her for Ella!!! Can a pair of shoes get any cuter?
Ella's Aunt Cathy is often the bearer of many great shoes for her. She gets them all from the greatest baby store ever, BabyStyles. Cathy is the one responsible for the gold Mary Janes that I am in love with. Thank you Aunt Cathy!
Hope y'all had a fantastic weekend!

HA! I ate at Cafe Express last night at the Woodlands Market Street. It's the same concept. It was a gorgeous night so we sat outside!! :) I LOVE Cafe Express.
Anywhoo, the shoes are just precious. I feel like baby clothes have gotten so much cuter with time. I'm a little jealous!! :)
Glad you had a good weekend!

Janelle: I've seen your comments on Lori's blog and keep meaning to check out your blog...your little girl is adorable, and hold off on wanting to be pregnant. I've been married less than two years, and by the time two years comes around in December, I'll have been pregnant 18 of our first 24 months together...so sistah friend, hold steady!

LOVE Cafe Express and LOVE those shoes...Sara needs a pair of those!! I know what you mean about loving the stage she is in, but Sara is almost 2 1/2 and I am realizing I love EVERY stage so far (I could do without the tantrums) but other than that- I really have fun with her right now. We can have semi-conversations, she is starting to get some jokes and laugh at them...it is wonderful. Just enjoy each stage she is at...they go by SOOOO quickly.
Glad your weekend was great. I love your blog by the way...will have to add it to my list to drop by regularly :) Take care.
Cute, cute shoes! And I love you and Heath's Friday night...Cafe Express is so yummy!
My, oh my... she is so cute and you are right, she is growing up and I agree that it would be nice to freeze this time!
I love those shoes, too!
Love,
Angie xoxo
Those shoes are so cute. I wonder if they come in my size. I would wear them. I think I need a little girl. Between Ella's shoes and Ava's bows, I feel I am missing out a bit. Happy 19 months Ella! You are such a sweetheart.
Janelle!! That first picture of Ella is absolutely heart-stopping! Get that in a frame!!!
I have to agree with Kristin!!! :) That pic is adorable!!! :) I understand what you mean about the fact that she is now 19 months instead of 18 months! :) There is something about passing that 1/2way mark! :) Aren't they just so amazing? I look at my kiddos and just marvel at the LORD!!! :) Ha, I even wanted to name one of our children (girls) Marvel! I can only imagine what Mary pondered! :)

All this food talk is making me hungry! If only I were in the Big D to have so many different choices. We have considerably less here in Arkansas.
The shoes are TOO.DIE.FOR.
Hey! I love the rugs!! I bet they look great in your kitchen. Josh and I need to get some things on our walls--our apartment looks like a prison (well, maybe I'm exaggerating a little...!). Anyways, thanks for the encouragement on my blog. You should SO do a triathlon. They are so much fun! :) Talk with you soon!
Love the rugs, love the baby shoes, love reading your blog as always! : )
What a sweet face!! Pictures like that are just priceless.
And, those are the cutest shoes ever! I think I want another girl just so I can get shoes like that. :)
Those shoes are adorable! If I had a girl she'd have lots of mary janes. Oh well... I'll stick to camo. I can't believe she's 19 months!
What a great weekend!! I just love those kind filled with mexican food, shopping, family, and adorable new girlie things.
glad you're loving that camera...i'm trying not to break a commandment over that one. :)
