This Thanksgiving was a weekend of many firsts! Is that a word? It looks funny! Anyway...obviously it was Ella's first Thanksgiving which in itself was fun!
It was the first Thanksgiving we have celebrated with Heath's dad since I've known Heath.
Of course they watched the Cowboys game together!
It was the first time Ella and I watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade together!
It was the first time Heath has been in charge of the entire Thanksgiving Day feast!
It was the first time Ella had seen a horse.
It was the first time Ella sat on a horse.
It was the first time Ella had ever seen a rabbit.
It was the first time Ella sat up on her own from a laying position.
The first time it took 4 people to get a booger out of Ella's nose!

Happy Early Thanksgiving!!
I am so thankful for my family. Not just my immediate family, but all of my extended family as well. I am so blessed because I have such a closeness with all of my cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents and each year we get to celebrate the holidays not just once or twice, but usually three times! Three Thanksgiving dinners! Three Christmas mornings!
This past Saturday we had an early Thanksgiving with my dad's side of the family, The Angels. We spent the day in Mansfield with my 4 cousins, my 2 aunts, my 2 uncles, my grandparents, my parents and Heath and Ella.
We are spending actual Thanksgiving day with Heath's dad in Arkansas. This is a big deal because he has not seen Ella since the week she was born!! I can't wait to see his face when he gets to see his precious granddaughter in all of her cuteness! Heath, Ella and I are leaving at 3:00 A.M. (not a typo)! I'm a little nervous about that, but I have full trust that Heath will not fall asleep! Pray for us if you are up Wednesday morning at 3:00!
So Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope that it is a wonderful time with your friends and family!

Ella's 8 Month Pictures
Once upon a time, in a home where there was no little human, there was a dog named Jones. This dog was not aware that he was actually a dog. In fact, he thought he was human. That could be because there was a husband and wife that loved each other very much and treated their dog that they loved very much like he was in fact a human. This "dog" was the center of that home. He was constantly loved on, he always had a warm lap to lay on. Then one day came along a little baby girl, who was in fact human. The baby girl was treated from day one like the princess she is and sadly the "dog" became a dog and has yet to recover from the realization.

Fall-a-Palooza
The anticipated (at least for me) Ladybug pictures of Ella are a week late! This was such a fun night for us! My little cutey pie ladybug was as cute as I could have ever imagined! And she knew it! And in case it's hard to tell from the pictures, I am a flower in a pot.
I love my little ladybug so much!
The Playgroup - I love all the different expressions of the babies in this picture!
